Is this a chatbot, like a general AI assistant?
No. A chatbot answers questions and a dashboard shows you data. Propel does the work. Propel's agents observe data, reason across sources and take action, purpose-built for shipping and constrained by rules you set. Propel has a chat interface that operators can use in natural language to inquire about decisions, validations and actions.
Will Propel act without a human in the loop?
No. Operators stay in the loop and keep full control over how much automation happens. As Propel plans a voyage, communicates with the master or updates the plan as conditions change, the operator sees each step, can control the actions, or allow some automation with the ability to intervene at any point.
