ZeroNorth completes leadership team with appointment of Head of Sales to steer next growth phase
Copenhagen,
ZeroNorth has appointed Nicolas Quéru as its new Head of Sales, completing a refreshed leadership team that will guide the company through its next phase of growth. Together with recent appointments of Kåre Kjelstrøm as Chief Product & Technology Officer and Flemming Karstens Søeborg as Chief People Officer, the leadership team now combines the commercial, technological and cultural leadership capabilities required to scale the business further at a time when shipping navigates the increasing complexity of the energy transition.

“ZeroNorth has grown from a start-up into one of the leading technology companies in maritime,” says Søren C. Meyer, CEO of ZeroNorth. “Each stage of our development requires specific skills. With an end-to-end platform in place, our first month of profitability achieved, and a refreshed leadership team, we are ready to take the company to its next level — scaling further and helping customers manage the increasingly complex demands of the energy transition.”
The newest addition to the team, Nicolas Quéru, has more than 20 years of international business experience with a strong track record in business growth and development. He was most recently Executive Director at EREN Gestion, the private equity arm of EREN Groupe, overseeing investments and portfolio supervision focused on decarbonisation and sports. Before that, he served nearly six years as CEO of EREN Life, and earlier held senior leadership roles at marine electronics company Navico.
Commenting on his appointment, Nicolas Quéru said: “The energy transition is the defining challenge for shipping, and technology has a critical role to play in helping companies adapt. ZeroNorth has already shown it can deliver tangible value to customers, both commercially and environmentally. I’m looking forward to helping expand that impact by bringing our solutions to even more of the industry.”
