Reducing CO2 Emissions

As shipping comes under increasing pressure to decarbonise, innovative solutions are needed to help improve sustainability and reduce our impact on the world.

A Sustainable Future

In order for the industry to reduce emissions in line with International Maritime Organisation targets, shipping organisations must work collaboratively to create viable, long-lasting solutions. We passionately believe that digitalisation supports these decarbonisation goals, providing a sustainable option for shipping without sacrificing commerciality.

Decreasing Emissions, Increasing Revenue

On average, the tramp shipping sector generates some 375m million metric tonnes of CO2 emissions per year. Yet if all 33,000 vessels in the global tanker and dry bulk fleet were using Optimise, we could cut as much as 50 million metric tonnes of CO2 emissions over the next five years. At the same time, revenue for the industry could increase by USD12bn.
